This evening the solar term of Spring Begins Li Xia starts the summer months off in the Chinese luni-solar calendar. The sexagenary pair for the month is rotated to Yi Si or Yin Wood Snake.  In Singapore, Vesak Day is celebrated on the 15th of May, and is also the 15th day full moon of the 4th lunar month.

Hello readers of this blog, advance new year greetings to you for the year of Xin Chou, Metal Ox . This coming OX year's Li Chun falls on the 3rd of February 2021 .   I was commissioned again to co-write a magazine article for The Inflight Magazine of ANA Group for the second time. It is published in the Japanese language in the January 2021 No. 619 issue that is available on ANA flights.  In Japan, New Year is celebrated on the first day of January.  This is a general version based on 12 zodiac signs for everyone.
